Hogarth’s House, Chiswick and Fullers Brewery

Booking opens on 1st August.

The day starts at Chiswick House where we will have coffee, followed by a ten minute walk to Hogarth’s House, once the home of the painter, engraver and satirist William Hogarth. Our group has exclusive access to the house, galleries and small garden. Space is limited so it is not possible to have a guided tour but there will be a member of staff on hand to answer questions and members will be free to enjoy the venue at their own pace. Please note, the first floor of the house can only be accessed via a narrow staircase of 12 steps with low height clearance. We then return by foot to Chiswick House (10 minute walk) for a sandwich lunch.

After lunch, the coach will pick us up for an afternoon visit to the historic Fuller’s Brewery. This is a guided tour lasting one hour 45 mins including tastings. We will be split into two groups for the tour, one starting at 2pm, the second at 3pm. Fuller’s request that no open-toe shoes are worn.

Christmas Show at The Musical Museum in Brentford

Booking opens (tbc)

For our Christmas visit this year we will be going to a Christmas Show at The Musical Museum in Brentford, West London. As part of a fun-filled afternoon, we will hear a "mini concert" with a variety of seasonal music and enjoy a Christmas themed Afternoon Tea and a glass of Prosecco.

Included is a museum tour of their amazing array of musical instruments and we will see and hear instruments and inventions that have replayed and generated music from the past through to the present day.  Have you ever heard an Edison Phonograph or a Mighty Wurlizter Cinema organ? This venue has come highly recommended by other Arts Societies.
